Charan* and Farisha from India ran out of money when building their new house. Charan is a mason and did most of the work on their house brick by brick with the help of his family. Unfortunately, two bedrooms remained unfinished when their funds were depleted.

After this hardworking family joined a SALT savings group, they asked for a loan from the group. This helped cover the expense of cement, rods, and other supplies they needed. Their daughter took a small loan from her savings group to help provide wood for the fire to make bricks. The family sold their extra bricks to help pay back the loan. Charan and Farisha are happy for the chance to complete the home for their family.
