Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the western hemisphere. Eighty percent of its population lives on only two to three dollars a day. Sponsors help 750 Christian families each month by providing them with 45-pound parcels of food, medicines, and healthcare items. The families also receive La Antorcha de la Verdad (The Torch of Truth) magazine for spiritual nourishment.
