This year’s rainy season brought disaster to many areas of Kenya. Weeks of steady rain proved to be deadly and destructive. Approximately 270,000 Kenyans have been displaced and more than 100 have died.
In the Kisumu area, houses had waist-deep water in them and acres of highly anticipated crops were destroyed. CAM distributed food and other necessities to 900 families affected by the flooding.
