After months of planning and organizing, we are thankful to report that the Moorefield Building Project 2020 is underway. The township issued a building permit to Christian Aid Ministries Canada on August 27, 2020, and on September 9, the excavation equipment began to move dirt to prepare to pour the footings and foundation walls. We plan for an ambitious schedule throughout the fall in an effort to have the main building closed in before the end of the year.

Supporters are wondering: How can we help?

This building will be replacing the aging Clothing Centre facility in Wallenstein, Ontario. It will also expand our existing warehouse space to help us accommodate new opportunities and pursue additional outreach programs. The support-base of Christian Aid Ministries has conveyed a strong message of affirmation by helping us reach a minimum building fund balance of 50 percent of the budgeted capital cost as directed by the Board of Directors. We are humbled and grateful that God has blessed the arduous process of planning to date.

As we move through the project, we will seek to keep you updated and provide each one with ongoing opportunity to assist financially with the building costs.
