As a young girl, Najah* became paralyzed from the waist down due to a doctor’s mistake. She now uses a wheelchair, bumping over the Judean hills around her home just south of Bethlehem. Her chair needs constant repair, but she isn’t ready to give up its familiarity for a new one. Our staff frequently visits her home to fix the brakes, replace the armrests, and do other repairs.
Ministering to needy, disabled people in the Middle East brings many opportunities for our staff to build friendships and show the love of Jesus to people in a troubled land. They fix wheelchairs, distribute crutches, do physical therapy, and visit the discouraged.
