Millions of dollars’ worth of medicines, food, nutritional supplements, and other items are donated to CAM each year.
Sterven, a child from Haiti, was a recipient of this generosity. He lives with his family just a walk away from a clinic. He suffered from malnutrition and dehydration and came to the clinic regularly to receive medicine.
Even though the medicine Sterven received was part of a shipment of donated goods, it wouldn’t have reached his hands without the support of donors. With all donated items comes the cost of procuring the items—getting them to our warehouse and then shipping them overseas. Each dollar donated helps us procure and ship $150 worth of donated goods.
