Muna’s* books lay tattered on her desk. Her hair was disheveled. The trauma of her drunken father and abusive mother reflected in her actions. Not knowing how to deal with the pain in her life, she decided to cause pain for someone else. Whack! She hit the little boy next to her.

Muna likes going to CAM-supported classes in Egypt because it is a safe place away from fear and violence. When recess time comes, she wants to stay in the classroom—the only place she feels loved and valued.

With time, we hope the kind, caring environment will transform Muna’s behavior as it has for many other children. Thank you, supporters, for bringing Christ-centered love and compassion to children from impoverished families in Egypt.

These children come from families that have been marginalized and living in the cycle of poverty for generations. Many cannot read or write. If you wish to sponsor children like Muna through Egypt Sponsor-A-Child so they can learn to read, write, and understand God’s Word, click the donate button to give a gift.
