Alikhan* and his family of seven children live in Kazakhstan, a country tucked in Central Asia. Nearly a year ago, this hardworking father was severely injured in a car accident. Despite his efforts to regain his strength and mobility, Alikhan has not fully recovered from his injuries. COVID-19 restrictions added to Alikhan’s struggle to provide. Sometimes he and his family resorted to eating only noodles for a week.

When Alikhan and his family received a food parcel, our contacts in Kazakhstan shared, “. . . they felt it was truly a miracle from God. They were so grateful and felt they had just received the best delicacies in the world.”
