Gnawing hunger tormented Salma.* For two days there had been no food in their home. Salma and her family live in South Sudan where conflict, natural disasters, and displacement have caused a surge in hunger and malnutrition.
After Salma and her family were included in a food distribution, she told a CAM contact, “I thank God for hearing my cry and answering my prayer through sending His servants to come and bless my family. Indeed, I am so happy since I have heard the servants of God are coming to visit my home. I feel so blessed.”
Through staff, contacts, and loyal supporters, we are responding to hunger crises in South Sudan, Kenya, Haiti, Ethiopia, and other places around the globe. Our prayer is that these food distributions will encourage God’s people and show the love of Jesus to unbelievers.
