What goes through your mind when you think of leprosy? Deformed feet and fingers? A dreaded disease? Or maybe you think of Jesus compassionately telling a leper, “Be thou clean.”

Today in South Asia lepers still exist and are outcasts of society just as they were in Jesus’ day. Although these people are shunned and rejected, an amazing work is happening to show lepers the compassion of Jesus.

Christian workers serve in such leprosy colonies, reaching out to suffering lepers by cleaning their wounds, providing food, and doing other tasks that show these people they are not forgotten. CAM provides funds to help these Christian workers minister to lepers.

Our 2025 budget to support the work among lepers is $375,000. To date, we have received $161,000. If you would like to help provide food, clothing, medicine, and other aid for lepers in Asia, your support will be a great blessing!
