Hurricane Milton struck Florida as a Category 3 hurricane, weaker than previously forecasted. There are reports of damaged buildings, downed trees, and flooding. A swath of the Central Florida peninsula is still flooded and not accessible. CAM’s Rapid Response team members will investigate the damages as soon as the area is accessible and they have time to break free from Hurricane Helene cleanup.

In the weeks since the destruction of Hurricane Helene, our Rapid Response teams have been busy across the southeastern states. Cleanup projects have been completed in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. With over 200 jobs done since Helene struck, the teams are feeling stretched to the limit. Your support is a huge blessing to the work of the Rapid Response crews.
